On the topic of Elvis’s stomach (stomach contents), Dr. Francisco said that it (the stomach) “had not been pumped” during resuscitation efforts.
On the same topic of Elvis’s stomach, Dr. Eric Muirhead stated in a deposition that the Emergency Room personnel reported to him that the stomach had been pumped during resuscitation efforts.
On the same topic of Elvis’s stomach, Dr. Nichopoulos was asked in his deposition if the stomach was “pumped or lavaged.” Dr. Nichopoulos responded, “No, no.”
So, we have:
Francisco: Stomach not pumped.
Muirhead: Stomach pumped.
Nichopoulos: Stomach not pumped.
Strange, huh?
