On the same topic of Elvis’s colon, Dan Warlick and the pathologists at the autopsy are quoted as saying that Elvis’s colon was “jam-packed from the base of the descending colon all the way up and halfway across the transverse colon” with “white, chalklike fecal matter.” They said that the impaction had the consistency of clay and “seemed to defy [Dr.] Florendo’s efforts with the scissors to cut it out.” The source here is Dan Warlick.
